"Butterflies in the Garden" March 17 - April 30, 2008 We are pleased to welcome you to another
season of "Butterflies in the Garden" in the Indoor 4-H Children's
Garden! We invite you to escape the chill of winter and enter a warm wonderland
brimming with butterflies. Witness the flight of a zebra longwing, find
eggs hidden on host plants in the garden, look at larva munching on leaves
and even watch as a an adult emerges from its chrysalis! With over 25
themes gardens there is always something new to discover! |

Teachers! Imagine bringing your curriculum to life through observing butterflies laying eggs, larvae lunching on leaves, adults emerging from their pupae and your students brimming with interesting questions! Come to the garden and participate in one our engaging butterfly field trips. Click here for more information or download an application to send to us today! Volunteers
are needed! If you
are someone that loves working with children and are passionate about
plants and butterflies, consider signing up to volunteer for "Butterflies
in the Garden." Docents are needed to lead field trips and to interpret
