Garden Work Party (9am - noon)
Have fun together as a family helping take care of the 4-H Children's Gardens. Learn about the many different types of plants growing in the gardens while transplanting, dividing, weeding, edging, planting, and meeting new friends! Everyone is welcome to help us out - students, service learning projects, community service and anyone willing to play in the dirt! Come for a little bit or stay the whole time.

Theater Thursdays (10am - 11am)
Join us in celebrating the garden through the art of acting. The All of Us Express Children's Theater Storybook Story Theater troop will perform in the amphitheater once a month this summer. Great for kids ages 6 and up!

Stories for Sprouts & Seedlings (10am - 11am)
This program is designed especially for young children, ages 2-4, to experience the wonders of gardening through stories and hands-on projects. Each month a different book is featured with an accompanying gardening activity. This month: The Happiness Tree by Andrea Alban Gosline.

Mad Hatter Tea Party (10am - noon)
Bring a friend and join us for a spot of tea and cake in the garden. Please wear your fanciest hat, and costumes are quite acceptable. We will be making garden hats and tea to take home.

Garden Geocache Event (11am - 2pm)
Cache veterans and new enthusiasts are welcome at this geocaching adventure. Bring your picnic lunch and enjoy a day of caching in the garden. We will be ̃nding new caches, trading travel bugs, exploring the gardens and much more. If you have a GPS unit please bring it to this event. If you do not have one, we will provide one.

Father's Day (10am - 2pm)
Enjoy a day with dad by bringing him to visit the Michigan 4-H Children's Garden and making him something from the garden. This is a self-guided event.

| June 23-25 |
Garden Writers Workshop (10am - noon)
Young writers will learn about the wonderful world of writing in the garden. Using the garden as their inspiration, campers will connect writing to nature, creating poems, stories, plays and much more. Ages 7 and up. (Limited to 20 participants).
Cost per person: $24 for all three days or $9 per session.
Parking: $3 for 1.5 hours or $5 for 3 hours.

Teens will be reading stories to younger children - a magical time of fun and learning. Great for kids 0 to 100!

Dinosaur Day (2pm - 4pm)
Come and explore the exciting world of dinosaurs in the garden. We will uncover dinosaur mysteries; discover what plants they ate, and learn what the earth was like when dinosaurs roamed here.
