The Pharmacy Garden contains the plants that help cure us.

Plants have been used to help heal us for centuries. Today over 25% of all our medicines come from plants. Most are tropical, however, some we can grow here, for example:

Pennyroyal (repels fleas on dogs and cats)
Yew (for Taxol, a possible cancer cure)
Bee Balm (research for Alzheimer's Treatment)
Sweet Annie (used to treat malaria)
Horehound (for cough drops)
Madagascar Periwinkle (used to treat children's lukemia)
Self Heal
Joe Pye Weed (named after a North American Indian Doctor)
Feverfew
Toothache Plant
